This sustainably produced tie, inspired by the work "the endangered swan" by Jan Asselijn, was commissioned by the Rijksmuseum. The famous work of art has a place in the gallery of honor and the silk tie is for sale in the Rijksmuseum's museum shop.

Each of M.C. Escher's ties is a work of art in itself. The beautiful graphic symmetry prints are the basis for the collection of ties, chokers and bow ties produced by Rooymans. This collection has been commissioned by the M.C. Escher Company since 1996.

Some logos are so well designed that if you place them in a repeating design, it is a work of art in itself. Such is the case with Agidens' visual logo. The end result: a super wearable tie with the full logo subtly at the bottom.

This silk square scarf was designed and produced in honor of the 100th anniversary of Wageningen University & Research Our designer was inspired by the hand-painted plates of Maria Sibylla Merian, a well-known artist and researcher, who exchanged Amsterdam for the Surinamese tropics around 1700. Around 1765, long after her death, the signed plates were used for a book about her work. Wageningen University is very proud to have a copy of this beautiful book in its collection.

The work Café Terrace at Night (Place du Forum, 1888) by Vincent van Gogh, was the inspiration for this beautiful royal blue tie. The clinkers of the terrace in the painting form the all-over design of this elegant accessory.
The tie has a nice detail on the back: the painting is incorporated into the counter lining as a full-color print. Royal blue accessories are very stylish, especially when inspired by a beautiful work by Van Gogh.

The painting can be admired at the Kröller-Müller Museum. The silk tie is for sale in the museum's shop.
